Why doesn't Samsung understand that Ultra is all about art and editing with the PEN. Do whatever you like with the S and S Plus but please leave the Ultra for what it is.
When they first announced that Note is retiring and there will be only the S series with an Ultra, I wasn't fooled and did not go crazy. Because it was after all only rechristening. You just had to call your Note an Ultra and rest all was the same good stuff. But as of late it seems the push for commercial profit has impaired Samsung's perception of what the Note (I can call it Ultra, I don't mind) really is.
I've been faithful to the 'Note' right through Note 1 only because it's the only device of its kind. Its a notebook with a magic pen straight out of the pocket wherever you need it. It unburdened me forever from having to carry a pen or notebook with me. And well, to call it a pen is an understatement. It's my wand! When I lose one I feel stripped of my powers. Samsung do you realise what you created in the product called the Note? Apparently you've forgotten.
You already killed the Bluetooth, and now with indications of the S Pen going out of the body, where are we supposed to carry it? In our pockets? Or in a fat cover? It kills it's portability and ubiquitousness. I am not greedy for just a meagre more battery or a little more cost. Don't compromise with magic for gold.
I could fathom laymen users, reviewers and tech blog writers not understanding this simple fact, but for Samsung itself to trade this priceless feature for a little battery space or cost saving is very very disappointing.
I hope you don't forget that the Ultra you make is more than a flagship smartphone for customers. It's a high end piece of craft for artists, engineers and creative souls.

Galaxy S24Yes true I know they are there to make profit. But holding on to a vision is important in the long term. Resilience pays.
Also my point is - why is the Plus variant there for? They could add all the Plus features there and users would be happy finding their large specs in it. What's even the point having 3 variants and making them look alike.

Galaxy S24A hundred percent true.
I waited what seemed like ages to see what S25 Ultra would bring. And when it came, I decided to buy the S24 Ultra. I'll stick to it now until they stop downgrading it's features. Or until some other maker can match it.
I've also wondered if it was a patent or something that has stopped anyone else from creating a thing like this so far...
