Galaxy Buds series of products won't connect to the Galaxy Wearables app

Hello,

 

I'm having issues connecting the buds to the wearables app.  

 

The buds will connect to my phone via blue tooth and I'm able to hear music.  The issue is when I open wearables and try to connect to adjust ambient sound, equalizer, etc...it will not show a connected status.  Status remains "Disconnected from earbuds".

 

I've cleared the cache on my bluetooth, uninstalled and reinstalled wearbles, and still i have this problem.  

 

What am I doing wrong or are the parts faulty?

Thanks. Tried network reset, as well as a partition cache clear and reinstall and still cannot get the app to connect to the Buds+.

My Samsung buds+ will not connect to the wearables app. They function as Bluetooth earbuds (though they sound quality is not good) but I cant modify the sound profile as they can't be seen by the app.

Hello!

 

I would recommend unpairing and repairing your buds from the Wearables app and Bluetooth menu and then clearing the cache and data from the Wearables App. You can do this by navigating to Settings>Apps>Wearables App>(Force Stop the app)>Storage, from here you can clear the cache and data.

yes, and it still is not working, why is it so hard to get this wearable app to work with these bud plus earbuds??

Hello,

My Galaxy Buds+ are not being detected by the Wearables app. I have tried everything, from unpairing & restarting to trying on 4 different devices.

The Buds work fine when connected via Bluetooth, they're just not detected by the app. Any help would be appreciated.

try network reset (BEAWARE THIS WILL UN INSTALL YOUR WIFI AND YOUR BLUETOOTH DEVICES, AFTERWARDS YOU WILL NEED TO RE INSTALL YOUR WIFI AND BLUETOOTH DEVICES). this should do it
