Been wondering if I should make the jump from the 2 Pros to the 3 Pros. With my luck T-Mobile included some 3 pros with my phone upgrade for free. Can't pass that up. After 2 days and with new ear tips I can't get them to sound anywhere as good as the 2s. I think 99% is has to do how they fit in my ear, they don't come close to a good fit in my ears. The music is tinny with very little base, enough so that I hate using these when I listen to music, I through in my 2s and wow do they sound so much better, its not even close. Why Samsung, why why. Makes me think what is wrong with my head and why can't I get the 3's to sound anything like the 2's. Glad I didn't have to trade my 2's in.

Don't expect help from "CEO Reponce Line" 2, count'em 2 days after the 30 return policy passed, I got horrible response from the "CEO Agent". Don't expect help or compassion. Samsung is no longer my go to brand after top of their washer & dryer, QLED TV two Galaxy S handsets, two sets of Pro3 buds and canceling a Bespoke kitchen, the level of support for their buds is worse than JLabs ($30 buds) give me. I thought Samsung would be comparable. HAHAHA.

I case it isn't obvious, I not realizing pleased with their customer support practices. Never seen such support since HTC, and where are they today

With Buds 3 you can use pre-defined AND make your own custom EQ configurations using the Wearable app. With Buds2 you don't get to create a custom EQ. When I bought closed back, over ear headphones one thing I found was that the previous phone Settings app->Sound and vibration->Sound quality and effects->Adapt sound profile was the saved one for my buds. My new headphones didn't have problems like yours but did sound better when the buds custom configurations were replaced. My Buds3 Pro were definately better than my Buds 2 Pro but not by much and it really took listening carefully to hear how much better the Buds3 Pro are. They are extremely good in a lot of situations and still are better without a good ear fit. So I doubt it's a factor if they are at any point in your ear canal. Not relevant to your problem but the reason I replaced mine with headphones is because it's hard to get a flat EQ from them, which is just my personal preference.

Believe me I have tried everything, I think. I've tried playing with the EQ, 360 sound (sounds better with it off). Its something with the fit in my ear which is why I tried other ear tips. I found that out when I pushed them into my ear just a tiny bit, but I'm not going to walk around holding in my Buds. Even played with different music apps like Amazon music and Youtube Music. These just don't fit my ear like the 2s. Appreciate the help these just don't like my big old head/ears. I can't explain how much better the 2s sound over the 3s, for me that is. Other people obviously have had better luck.

The only thing that makes the fit tight is the rubbery cuff on the bud. The following suggestion would not be recommended advice by Samsung but I have no relationship with them other than as a consumer. Therefore, if you still have your Bud2 cuff then see if you can make it stay on a Buds3 Pro device. If you traded in and don't have the Bud2 cuffs then you can buy "replacement" Buds2 cuffs for a small cost, but you would be taking the chance that the Buds2 cuff can be made to stay persistently on a Buds3 device. I have both but am not able to check at present. I believe there are also third party cuffs for both Buds2 and Buds3. Whetever you do, only force it using the elasticity of the cuff material, don't glue them on for example.

That is one of the first things I thought about but when I looked the size is different for both headsets, the connector, what ever you call it, on the 3's are bigger than the 2's.

I just found this at... https://asiaudio.com/pages/audio-seal-test

For the 2's it sound almost as good as my PC speakers with a Sub. On the 3's I barely hear any bass, and again I changed all the tips and tried different angles and nothing worked.

I think I just have to live with the fact that my ears/head just don't like the fit of the 3 Pros.

Going to throw some more money at these. Going to try these or something like it.

I liked the Comply ear tips for my 2 pros as well, thinking about getting those. If this doesn't help...welp...at least I gave it my all.

I do still love my 2 pros thank god!!

Just found these, going to try these out instead.... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0F1L8PPP4/ref=sspa_dk_detail_3

And that would be a big NO for me. Nothing has worked. I mentioned in another post that I even turned them upside down to see if I would get a better fit, funny enough my right ear got a solid fit rating, go figure. My rating on these Ear buds is a solid 1 or 2. I heavily depends on how they fit in your ear. The Buds 2 Pro fit awesome and I will continue to wear these.

Hope everybody has a blessed day!! :))
