So, I genuinely feel that the light is useless on the buds. It would make so much more sense the lights acted as some sort of status indicator, turning on and off as you listen to music (on while music is playing, off when it's not) While I understand that would drain battery more, it would be massively beneficial for some people and be worth it in my opinion. I would be one of those, as I use them at work. It would help other people to know whether or not I'm playing music by just a glance. Just a thought that was bugging me, anyone else feel this way?
They're meant for show. What you're asking for doesn't even make any sense, considering they're in your ears. Unless you want other people to know that info, you'd just have to take time to tell everybody that's what it means--lights on = music, lights off = no music you can hear them, or something.
That's the point I'm trying to make. I work on a closed environment of about 20 people. Most people know that I listen to music by now, it would help them, not me... *I* don't need to know whether or not I'm playing music because they are in my ears 😉
😶 the lights are not for me lol .. I question that too, but I didn't buy the bud pros for the light, I bought them for the audio quality and ANC. My point is it would be better for people to know whether or not you are actively listening to music, rather than the rather useless current options (pulse, solid, fade)
I rarely use the lights, unless I wear them into a Walmart or something. Idk, the designers for these buds didn't do a very good job with them to begin with. I was hoping for the 4s to be announced, but I guess I'm still waiting.
It sounds cool at first but then you go ask yourself when you are actually ever going to need that. I just feel it they did that they would be at least somewhat useful
People that are not familiar with Galaxy Buds would need to know what the lights on or off mean for this to provide any benefit. I don't think the lights are for anything more than: 1) gimmicky way of saying Samsung Buds are not the same as others 2) lame way to justify $250 price 3) visibility outside at night
I believe the lights serve no purpose whatsoever except as a decorative element and to waste the battery on the buds.
