Black Spot due to paint missing on Galaxy buds 3 Pro

Is this normal I have never dropped my buds 3 pro on the ground nor used them alot and they have little black dots not sure if i can return them or get a replacement with warranty

It looks like an animal may have gotten ahold of them. Do you own any pets?

I do but I never let them near the headphones nor any of my electronics

Having owned the Buds 3 Pro since they released, I can tell you that these black markings are not normal. When did you make your purchase?

I've had them since launch it's only gotten worse since I think the buds are hitting the case and scratching them

Ah I see. The markings almost looked like punctures. If this cosmetic damage has been caused due to "normal wear and tear", it wouldn't be covered under the warranty (which may have expired in July regardless). If this isn't impacting the operation of your device, I wouldn't worry about it too much.

If you're like me and use your buds a lot then yes it's normal I believe it is where they sit inside of the case or possibly just from being taken out put back in the case it kind of wears the paint off. Mine has the same problem which I don't really look at as a problem it's no big deal they still work just fine. I hope this helps

Mine has that same issue on both buds as well. I don't find it too much of a problem though because no one will see that area when they're in your ears. I think it's from being put in and out of the case as well. Especially if you use them very often. They work very well still and sound amazing.
*The paint isn't peeling because of animals or being dropped, especially on that area*

Im having the same problem. Wish they sold touch up paint for them. I agree that it is the case doing the damage wish they would fix it!
