Sorry you experienced this. While foldables are more durable than ever before, they are still an emergent form factor and are more prone to failure than traditional slab phones.
For this reason, it is not recommended to use a foldable as a primary phone without also purchasing Care+. Hopefully you have done so to help mitigate repair costs.
