Just came out today. Its about 2mm diameter. Talked to Samsung care customer service. They said this is not considered defect and will not affect trade in value. So no repair needed.
This feels strange. And one can buy in?

That looks like a perfect circle! Almost as if it was a part of the wallpaper.☹️ If it is dead pixels, hope the repair is not too costly.

It sounds like you found a tiny ~2 mm spot on your Fold's inner screen that popped out, and Samsung Care told you it's not considered a defect and won't affect trade-in value. That matches what others in the community are reporting - some tiny dots, dead pixels, or cosmetic inner screen issues aren't flagged as defects by Samsung support, so they won't automatically reject trade-in or count as major damage.

I think Samsung must have a quick fix/clean up so they accept these conditions for trade in. Glad that Trifold just released. I'm going to trade in for it and see if it actually preserves value
