Zfold 7 inner screen failure

I have been a fold user for years, had the zfold 5 and zfold 6 for about a year each.  Upgraded to the fold 7 and within less than a month the screen failed without any abuse.  It was working fine, I put it in my (empty) pocket and when I re-opened it the screen didn't work.  Just some random flickers that changed depending on how much I had the phone open.  Then I noticed hundreds (thousands?) of micro cracks across he screen.

Went to a service center they took pictures and sent do Samsung who refused warranty coverage saying it was "physical damage" and that I had closed something in the screen.  That is not true, it was literally just sitting closed in my pocket.

Buyer beware, the screen may have a fundamental problem, never had issues with my past folds.  Also the 12 month warranty is worthless if they can just claim you abused the device.

I have the same issue. About 6 weeks in, I had been using the phone to watch videos, folded it, opened it a few minutes later and noticed what looked like microcracks near the fold. Shortly after that, half the screen was blank, then the entire screen was green with lines, and hasn't worked since. Even better, I scheduled walk-in repair on the Samsung site (at a place 45 minutes from my place). It was confirmed by Samsung and the repair chain (Ubreakifix) but when I showed up, the place was empty, and there was a sign on the door indicating it had been closed for 2 months (smoke and water damage.) Samsung support is a disaster. After 15 years as a customer, I am done.

Had this happen this morning opening my fold........of course i abused it opening it so not covered under samsung if this many people have had these issues samsung needs to investigate the screens the lines on mine are vertical when i took it to the samsung repair shop horizontal lines appeared after we opened and closed it
