@KnightRiderRalph or Samsung Support:  I have a Crucial P3 4TB PCIe Gen3 3D NAND NVMe M.2 SSD that mounted & read & wrote on my ZFold 3 & 4 with no issues.  The same SSD reads & writes on my MacOS Sonoma 14.6.1 & Windows 11 on an Ayaneo 2 portable gaming PC.

The SSD power/data light illuminates & flickers like data is being read/transferred.  Other 1TB micro SD cards in a USB-C adapter can be read/written to by using the Paragon app/driver with Total Commander app.  These apps will not recognize the SSD though.  The SSD was  accessible natively without the use of apps on the older Fold phones & also before UI 6.1.

I don't know if the change is in One UI 6.1 or the ZFold 6 but I'm hoping that Samsung Support will see this & shed some light on this.  Anyone else having this type of issue with ExFAT or an external SSD connected to your ZFold 6?

Thanks in advance for your attention.

@5uck3rpunch That is a weird issue. I have no problem connecting my T7 500GB SSD to my Fold 6 running 6.1.1. It is formatted xFAT. [Edit] I directly connected it to my Fold 6.

@LongHiker It is odd.  I went through all of the Developer Options too & USB Debugging is enabled.  Also "File Transferring" is enabled as the default for USB.  I do see a TON of posts on the web where data transfer is blocked by new settings in Android 14.

Hi, did you manage to solve the issue? I can mount the ssd on other tablets and phones, it's just Samsung devices are not mounting my ssd. Both are on 6.1.1.

Same here. No help in this forum, no help from Samsung support either.
