Fold & Flip Phones
I'm a long time tech enthusiast who justifies the ridiculous money he spends by claiming it's a hobby. I've had the Fold 3, 5, and 6 - all returned mainly because of the difficult-to-use outer screen. I now have the Fold 7, which is the first foldable to become my permanent companion.
There is room for improvement. An even wider outer screen, and the return of S Pen are foremost on my list of wishes for next year.
Better battery life was on the list, but the phone seems somehow to have settle in, and I would hate to trade a little more battery for thicker and heavier.
I wonder if my opinion on these matters is mainstream. There's gotta be a bunch of folks out there that feel the same.

Fold & Flip Phones
I have not purchased a fold yet because some of the reasons you have mentioned. I will also add the camera hardware being so inferior for the price if it had the same telephoto that is in the s25 ultra series I would have gladly purchased it, even the old 10x that was in the S23U I would get it. I however will not except the 5 yr old 3x that is in it.
