I own a Fold 5 which is going to have its 3rd new screen installed in the next few days. I have talked to many Individual UBreakIFix locations and they all have reported they get many hundreds of screen repair requests for the Fold 4 and Fold 5 phones and that there is a decreased number of repair requests for Fold 6 and even fewer repair requests for the Fold 7. Samsung should have recalled the Fold 4 and the Fold 5 but since they have not, at the very least they should offer Fold 4 and Fold 5 owners something like a 75% discount for the Fold 7 in exchange for their old Fold 4 or Fold 5. I personally have invested more than $3K between the 1st new screen (>$600) which was required before my 1st month of ownership of the Fold 5 plus the greater than $250 for the Samsung Care insurance plus the $99 Samsung charged me for lying that I dropped my phone before I got my 2nd new screen. I carry my phone in a double phone case situation and am always very conscious of my grip on the phone so I am not dropping it. I just got the last new screen less than 6 months ago. I will be getting my next new screen in a few days. This phone has cost me an enormous amount of money and time. I want the Fold 7 for at least a 75% discount and I want it now.
