Does anyone know how I can stop it from draining my battery so much? It's literally the only thing that drains my battery. Literally yesterday it drained about 17.5% total. I've already restarted my phone several times and even done the delete system cache trick. But it's still the same. Idk what else to do
@Zflipboy You can try wiping the cache to see if that helps
Step-by-step instructions:
Turn off: your Samsung device completely.
Press and hold: the Volume Up button and the Power/Side key simultaneously.
Release both buttons: when the device turns on and the Samsung logo appears.
Use the Volume Down button to navigate to and highlight "Wipe cache partition".
Press the Power/Side key to select "Wipe cache partition".
Use the Volume Down button to highlight "Yes" for the confirmation prompt.
Press the Power/Side key to confirm the action and begin wiping the cache.
When the cache wipe is complete, "Reboot system now" will be highlighted.
Press the Power/Side key to restart your device.

The security update happened just recently. Even though it's dayed August 1st, it did not install till the first week in September.
