I just switched to samsung from apple upon my girls request and im having trouble getting the the brief pop up lighting effects to work can anyone explain this to me
Try adjusting your notifications pop up style. Also in advance settings, enable the floating notifications and select the style that works for you. I use bubbles
@swiff00 Go to phone settings -> Notifications -> Notification pop-up style and enable Brief. Then, on that screen, click Add lighting effect.
Click on Effect to choose what type of effect you want to see.
Click on Advanced to choose Transparency, Width, and Duration.
If you want even more options, install Samsung's Good Lock. The open Good Lock and isntall the Edge Lighting+ module. This module provides many ways to customize the effet including using your own custom icon.
