Fold/Flip 7 feedback, suggestions

Hey @SamsungMobile, I have some feature suggestions for the upcoming Z Fold series that I believe could enhance the user experience. 

1. Gesture-Controlled Volume Button:

A flat, gesture-sensitive volume button where users can slide up or down to adjust the volume, similar to how the power button integrates the fingerprint sensor.

The button could still be physically pressable for added flexibility.

Adding customizable single and double-tap actions (e.g., app shortcuts or quick commands) would make it even more functional.

2. Built-in S Pen:

Integrating an internal S Pen slot would solve a real issue for users like me who don’t like using phone pouches just to carry the S Pen.

Offering two versions—one with an S Pen and one without—could cater to different budgets and preferences.

3. Refined Camera Design:

The under-display camera (UDC) on the unfolded inner screen is fantastic and adds to the seamless design.

However, the visible hole-punch camera on the outer screen breaks the uniform aesthetic. It would be amazing if Samsung could introduce an under-display camera on the outer screen as well, creating a clean, uninterrupted look on both displays.

I truly believe these improvements would make the Z Fold 7 stand out even more and reinforce Samsung's leadership in foldable innovation.

Hey Sammie family. What's your thoughts on the new Flip? As the title states, I'm a faithful Galaxy S girly but the Flip caught my 👀's . 

I still love my S24 but curious 🤨

I used both. Went back to the s25. It goes to how bad of a OCD you have. You will notice a crest in the middle for me I wasn't a huge deal I sign up for it knowing. My wife on the other hand had a war against it. But it was the version 3 and they've made a lot of improvements since then

I have purchased a new Note/Fold every year since the very beginning, because they all had S-Pens. This is the first time that I won't be purchasing this time around. I'm currently looking at the other manufacturers with pens, so this could be my break-away from Samsung. I'd like to say I'll keep my phone for another year and see what rolls out next, but the battery on my fold6 is getting pretty bad, and I only charge it to max 80%. I need a device with a stylus and good battery life.

I was just about to pre-order the new z-fold like I have been doing for all the previous Z fold versions as well as Note versions for the last 10 years. Then I discovered that there is no S-Pen functionality! The S-Pen is literally why I've used Samsung for so long and now that that function is gone, I have no reason to stay with this company. I hope my Zfold 6 will last as long as possible but I definitely will be looking at what the competitors are putting out. Samsung really **bleep** up. Now they're just like every other phone company.

Please please please bring support for the s pen to upcoming foldables. I really was considering upgrading to the Fold 7 from my S23 Ultra until I found out they removed s pen support. I know it seems we (s pen fans) are the minority, but are we really on a multitasking device like the Galaxy Fold phones? I don't think so. Please bring us newfound tech to support the s pen and keep us all happy.

I'm concerned when Samsung says "We" didn't use it that much. I'd like to know what Samsung used for the metric. If they are basing it off of the S Pen specific software uses then yes, I would agree with their statistics. I however use the S Pen daily for just about everything but I found little use for the S Pen apps. I use mine for work tasks, marking up documents, editing photos, and signing documents. I rarely if ever used the notes app or anything on the S Pen pulldown menu. That doesn't mean that I rarely use the S Pen. I do hope they bring it back in some form maybe even one that will work with the ZFold7. It really is the only reason I have stayed buying Samsung devices for years.

Anyone excited to receive there new folds and flips. I cant wait to see the new releases and all of its new features on the network! The new watches seem worth getting also.
