Bring back the S Pen for future Folds

Samsung please bring back my S Pen back in the Samsung Galaxy Fold 8. The S Pen is a big help to me. It goes together like Peanut Butter and Crackers. I have to keep my Fold 6 because it has the S Pen. PLEASE figure it out.

there's Galaxy S Tab Ultra if you need S Pen so much

also Fold 6 still supported up to Android 21, it's still a long journey for your Fold 6

I know i have 6 more years of updates but I want the new technology. They finally put a bigger outer screen on the Fold 7, which should have been on the Fold 6. They could have put S Pen support without a digitizer and everyone knows it. Heck Apple does it. And why would I want to carry around my Tab S10 Ultra which is big as h*ll just for S Pen Support? The main screen on the Fold series just makes to much sense for S Pen support.

No, it can't work without digitizer. Apple pen doesn't need digitizer because it is not else then stylus made by Apple. Any stylus will also work on Fold 7.

For real 🤦🏿 everyone knows that. Oh I guess you didn't hear about Samsung talking about using another type of technology, possibly the same technology that Apple uses for their Apple Pencil huh. I guess you were the only one not hearing that news huh.

Maybe you didn't read how poorly it tested, too. Samsung couldn't use it. As far as the center crease, it was never about the digitizer layer because Samsung uses TWO - one on either side of the hinge. Firmware figures out where a line should be in the center, based on the pen's location on the layers. This is about removing features, cutting costs, throwing out "oooh look at the AI everybody!" and thinking we'll actually pour money on them.

Yes I read about it. I don't believe they couldn't come up with something that worked. I do agree that they took some features to so call cut costs. Man to tell you the truth i don't believe they had to do that either. All this money they get for these devices, with no power brick, no case or tempered Glass screen protector like other brands. $2000.00 for the device, short charging cable, and sim ejection tool. Crazy, and I still would have bought it if it had the S Pen 🤦🏿.

The idea that they released a Galaxy Fold back in 2019... an unproven product, but they can't figure out a way to include the S-Pen. I think they had it working... but it wasn't all that great.

So, they scrapped it at the last minute... let's sell thin and light now. And down the line we get loyal S-Pen users to upgrade.

Coming from someone that has both the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra 14.6 and a Galaxy ZFold 5.... and i would have been the next one in line for the new Z Fold 7 but the no stylus support is the main thing that turned me off on the new 7... And I beg to disagree ith this last statement suggesting that if I want to write like a big person with a pen I must lug around my 14.6 inch Tab Ultra through Walmart with my shopping list 😂
