Samsung, please add Gemini to the camera. I want Gemini to tell me how to take a photo while taking a photo on my phone.

Instead of outsourcing your thinking to a chatbot, maybe you should try learning how to take a photo

Google limits Pixel exclusive features to Pixel โ€” hence the name. Samsung cannot add Pixel exclusive features to their devices.

If you want features like Camera coach, you will need to switch to Pixel.

People are starting to rely too heavily on AI instead of thinking for themselves.

I agree with all that's been said because I've been an amateur photographer for 40 years or more, starting with 35mm film. It's not hard or complicated to learn the skills and art of photography. One of the best places to start is to, ironically, ask Gemini for the specifications of all cameras on your device, including sensor pixel count, focal length, optical zoom range, aperture and field of view. Ask Gemini what each means if you don't understand. Then prefer to use the cameras only within their optical zoom ranges (the frames are cropped and expanded by the app to simulate the zoom if you exceed the optical zoom range of a given camera and detail is reduced). Use your legs as the zoom when possible if you need more than the camera optical zoom do that by cropping yourself in another app than the camera (Gallery, Photos, Lightroom, etc.) to improve a scene if you can't walk to zoom. Prefer cameras with the higher pixel count sensors but understand how the camera focal length and field of view affect how a subject looks in a scene. Learn how over/under exposure affects contrast and use it as a tool in scenes with small very bright or small very dark areas you want detail in. Learn how focal point can cause blur and use it positively or correct it by learning how to choose the focal point in the camera app (the best way is to press and hold on your preferred subject if you can keep the phone still enough). Learn what camera shake is and how it can cause blur and how shutter speed or a stable mount for the camera (bracing yourself against something solid, or a monopod or tripod) can reduce it, also why some devices have optical image stabilization to reduce the problem, check if any of your device cameras have it but find out the problems it can cause as well. Any feature of the device cameras can be explained usefully by Gemini and make you a more skilled artist with the camera, e.g. "What is ISO on a digital camera", you'll learn more from understanding it's advantages and limitations than leaving it to a machine decision. You really will get better results from knowing what's wrong yourself than from asking AI to imagine what your dreaming of capturing.
