I have been using my Galaxy Tab 10 as my primary system, connected to a 27-inch monitor. Additionally, I use a Nexdock smaller monitor alongside it as a second display, to which I connect my Galaxy Fold 6. I use Multi Connect to control both devices with a keyboard and mouse.
I recently upgraded to One UI 8 on my Fold, and I forgot that this software has an updated version of DeX. Surprisingly, when I connected my phone to use it as a second monitor, I could not connect using Multi Connect. I checked the settings under connected devices on my tablet, but my phone did not appear.
When I examined my phone's settings while connected to the monitor and tried to start Multi Connect, I received a message stating, "Multi Connect and DeX cannot be used at the same time." I disagree with the claim that you can do more with the new Samsung DeX, as it seems I will do much less with this update.
Are these issues being investigated? Is there a non-Windows, software alternative for doing this same task, while waiting for a fix if any is to come.
im having problems with the wireless controllers and keyboard stop responding when the phone screen shut off, and sometimes the peripherals activate the phone screen when im on dex mode
