I have been unable to find documentation on how to install Windows 11 on a new PC build utilizing a Samsung m.2 SSD which supports hardware encryption. I do not want Bitlocker software encryption for obvious reasons. Can anyone direct me to the steps to accomplish this? Thank you in advance for any guidance.
I just replaced my boot drive in mine and all you have to do is download the Windows 11 ISO to a USB drive and when you boot up the PC press F2 or F12 and select the USB with the ISO and it will install it to the new SSD and then you will proceed the normal install of windows

I'm familiar with the Win 11 install process. What I'm looking for is the detailed process to enable hardware encryption on the drive as part of that process. I don't want the overhead of Bitlocker software encryption. I know the PC has to boot from UEFI and the CSM has to be disabled. But I don't know how to set the encryption state as part of the install process. Does something need to be set in the BIOS first, etc?
