Samsung laptops are not really as popular as you would expect from the company. What do you think might be the cause of it?

Personally I feel like it's the focus on basic productivity as opposed to performance with an aesthetic look. What about you?

Because unlike apple. There are no updates and most of Samsung's features are a miss in their eco systems with pc. I find my book 3 pro 360 to hardly work well with other Samsung devices.
I won't be buying another Samsung laptop anytime soon for sure.

Is it a touch screen? I have a HP envy, Sony vaio, and Lenovo. I wanted to get a Samsung but was too big from the selection at the store.

Oh, I'm guessing the cost vs. features compared with other brands.  I recently bought a new laptop (not a Samsung).  I looked at the Samsungs and compared the features I wanted at a price I was willing to pay, and Samsung came up lacking in what I wanted. Especially since this particular computer was going to serve essentially two purposes, 1) be a spare for my aging desktop should it die unexpectedly, and 2) allow me to get used to and tweak Windows 11 to my liking without interfering with my regular computer use. I really hate laptops in general, though, as I cannot stand the flat keyboards.

Samsung laptops are not popular because it's just a light weight laptop just for work and school. That is used for basic browsing. Once I had a samsung gaming laptop. It lasted about 3 months before it went out. That's why they don't last that long as well.

I have two and no complaints. Basic hardly. I have 3 OSes on my 360. Windows heavily skinned with Stardock software and a ton of heavy-duty software from Edraw to the full load of gpt4all LLMs, all of them 6 browsers, and I never shut tabs or apps. Cloud security and a vpn.

The other two OSes are Linux. Suse is one, and I have that divided into 3 working user accounts doing different things. And, I have another distro on it divided into two user accounts. My bootloader would confuse the heck out of anyone turning my computer on.

The other laptop is an old Samsung ARM laptop. I have that heavily skinned, partitioned, and encrypted. Running six browsers on it, too. Edraw also works. GPT4all wouldn't work because it only has 8gbs of ram. it is fully loaded, though, and DEX works on it, too. The Stardock software works on it, too. My cloud security software wouldn't work. But VPNs do. I've never had a virus on it. The battery life beats the Intel 360 by leaps and bounds.
