The touchpad on my Galaxy Chromebook stops working every time it overheats (play youtube, charge it, watch Netflix for over 5 mins). Once stuck, sometimes the cursor will become a ghost and keep moving around. I have power-washed it and it still does not work.

Hey, try doing a factory reset of the device. Make sure you back up all data prior to doing so. If this does not help I recommend letting a service technician have a look.
