I would have thought that a Book 5 with high spec RTX 50XX GPU would have been released by now (late May 2025 post), is there anything in the pipeline or should I opt for Alienware/Razer or equivalent who have already released to market? Many thanks
Hi. I have a Samsung s24 ultra. I wanted to buy a book 5 ultra laptop, but Samsung has been not releasing it for a very long time. Now I don't really want to upgrade my phone to a new one. This is not a serious attitude towards their customers. I'm thinking of switching to another company so that I can have a powerful phone and a powerful laptop. Samsung has really disappointed me in this regard. They could have at least warned that, for example, they would release the book 5 ultra in August 2025, then I could have waited, but they are silent. This attitude towards their customers is unacceptable, to put it mildly. I'm sorry.
I honestly think that, if Samsung wants to move forward in the laptop industry and be a proper competitor to lenovo and Apple. Samsung will have to release a Book Ultra with the following
CPU : Intel core ultra 9 285h - 275HX
GPU: RTX 5070Ti
Ram: 64 GB +
2-4 TB PCIe Gen 5 NVMe M.2 SSD
4K oled 120hz
New Tab S Ultra should have a better chip set with 32Gb of ram and 2Tb of SSD.
This 2 will complete directly with the the Apple tablet, and as a laptop complete against the lenovo yoga book 9i with the Intel core ultra 9 285H, and the Lenovo Yoga Pro 9i , Apple mac book M4 Pro.
Samsung you cant wait any longer, if you'd like to take the market, you should do it now before the end of 2025.
