ComputersI purchased a Samsung Galaxy Book 5 360 (Intel Ultra 7, 512GB) on 30th May 2025. The laptop is still under warranty.
From the beginning, the system performance has been very poor. At first I thought it was normal or due to heavy usage, but the problem has become worse day by day.
Current issues:
Windows Explorer takes a long time to open
System freezes during basic operations
Overall performance is very slow for a premium device
No heavy software or gaming usage
This is happening during normal day to day usage and is not expected from a laptop of this price range.
I have not yet raised a service ticket, but before doing that I wanted to know:
Are other users facing similar performance issues?
Is this a known issue with Galaxy Book 5 360 or Intel Ultra series?
Can this be a hardware issue (SSD, firmware, BIOS, thermal throttling)?
Any guidance from Samsung support or other users would be appreciated.

ComputersIt could be thermal throttling due to high temperatures caused by inoperative fan(s) or improper heat evacuation/thermal compound. If there is an app that shows the system temperatures and fan speeds, see if it shows anything. Also, make sure your SSD is not showing SMART errors or close to being full.
I would suggest you put in a service ticket and let Samsung figure out the issue.
