hello world,   just to the right of the clock/time i see  [upper left of screen]

1- blue circle with white teardrop? is that location services ON ??

2-black circle with white head.body...it is white/black after the phone is unlocked what is that ??

3-white capital 'G' what is that ??

i do not see these on the list i found at samsung and let them know also.

If it is on the left side of your status bar ( terminology for that area) it is a notification from an app. If you pull down from the top left of your phone you will see where the notification is coming from.

do you see the pic with the blue circle ? the blue is slightly less bright, maybe sky blue on my actual phone NOT GREEN

ok i will close the other  post there are going in circles , also can you look at the picture ans screenshot first?  thank you --i had to call apple support  to fix the login keychain/password error so i could send that screen shot from my ipad.

That is, indeed, the location icon, however, I'm not sure why it's blue or on the left side. It normally resides on the far right, to the right of the battery icon, is green and doesn't show on the lock screen.  Since it's on the notification side, why not just open the notification panel?  It's likely a notification that some app accessed your location.  That's also likely why it's blue.  See which app it is that sent you the notification and turn off any notification category in that app that includes location.
