Why is the only way to get a delete key is to have a tablet? This goes for more than just Samsung, a lot phones don't come with a delete key option, makes no sense.

@iamhim67  if you want the Del key on your keyboard

download Goodlock Keycafe
Enable Make your own keyboard
Tap Simple Keyboard and click edit
Then scroll over to the measurements icon and drag the Del key to where you would like it located.

Bruh, backspace deletes anything behind the sentence line, DEL deletes anything in front of the sentence line, im looking for that.

I understand the necessity of a Delete key on non-touch screen devices. However, for smartphones, a Delete key is unnecessary, as users can simply tap the desired location and utilize the backspace feature to delete text.

Yes it's called a joke. Also, you can move the cursor around with the space button.

I don't know any phone keyboard that includes a delete key. But you can go into the Samsung keyboard settings and choose the option to use the space bar to move the cursor, then backspace over the unwanted characters.

Or Tap the screen to where you want the cursor and then backspace the undesired words away.

Is that the only solution? I have no problem with using the space bar to move my cursor, but sometimes it likes to act super sensitive and overshoot where I'm trying to move.1755142059102.jpg

That's not quite right. That is a backspace.

A backspace will move from right to left and remove characters to the left of the cursor.

A delete key, when pressed, will delete characters to the right of the cursor.
