For some strange reason I can't open links in messenger. I have this issue on all my devices in that particular app. The problem I have before which I don't think is resolved is that when I would open a link when it would open links and it would not show me the video that it was supposed to be it would be a different video. I have no idea how to fix this. I have a Samsung Galaxy A35 and a Samsung Galaxy Tab 89 plus. The issues are on these devices plus one more which is not a Samsung device

To limit background power usage on your Samsung phone, go to Settings > Device care > Battery > Background usage limits and choose to "Limit battery usage for apps that you don't use often" or put "unused apps to sleep".

Here's a more detailed breakdown:

Access Battery Settings:

Open the Samsung Settings app, then navigate to "Device care" and select "Battery".

Limit Background Usage:

Tap on "Background usage limits".

Choose Your Preference:

"Limit battery usage for apps that you don't use often": This option will automatically put unused apps to sleep, preventing them from consuming battery in the background.

"Put unused apps to sleep": This option will also put unused apps to sleep, preventing them from consuming battery in the background.

Alternatively, you can restrict background data usage for specific apps:

Go to Settings > Apps (or Apps & notifications).

Select the app you want to manage.

Tap on "Mobile data" or "Mobile data usage".

Toggle off "Allow background data usage".

If the issue is on all your devices with that particular app, I would assume it's Messenger issue, not a Samsung one. Either that or one of your settings is blocking the opening of links from that app and you have the same setting on all your devices. Check your app permissions to make sure it can open links. In the settings where it says "set as default" make sure the slider is on to open links.
