Samsung Galaxy A54 5G, I purchased an inexpensive fast charger from AliExpress with two USB C charging ports and two USB E ports and at the same time I purchased a case cover, I kept getting the message this device is not compatible with cell phone or something to that sort, I did not give it much thought and as I was trying to plug it to a different port I saw Sparks, I had to leave the house in the evening when I came back I noticed my phone does not want to charge properly or engage the main speaker, at the same time the case I bought did not want to fit properly to the point where the buttons did not want to align. My initial action was to restart my phone and see what's going to happen; restarting the phone solve some of the problem except the speaker had a nasty clicking sound in it, playing around with the cover case; can't remember what I did I noticed that the battery swelled up, my initial thought was; the clicking sounds and the speaker not operative had to do with the battery causing electrical short and the phone is shutting certain functions off to protect itself, to determine if the problem was in the motherboard or in the speaker I used Bluetooth thinking that if the problem in the motherboard then it's not going to make a difference if I listen to a YouTube using Bluetooth, the Bluetooth was fine which made me think it is a speaker problem, replacing the speakers did not solve the problem which made me think that somehow the motherboard is damaged. the thought came to my mind that it could be a software issue caused by the battery shorting out, reset settings help but it did not solve the problems, to make a long story short I proceeded to do a factory reset and delete all unnecessary apps, finally that's solved the problem. This post is to tell you what happened in my case and it might be helpful to you in your case. The moral of the story is to be careful from whatever discounted stuff you buy off the internet especially AliExpress, it seems that there's a certain element on AliExpress specializing in selling stuff inexpensively or dumping whatever could not be sold in the regular Market, especially when it comes to memory devices especially large capacity memory devices and if you purchase any memory devices from AliExpress or any where else do yourself a favor and do antivirus scan of the device then format it before using it this way you would avoid malicious software, I know I've been there in which I had experience malicious software that Norton Antivirus did not catch it, as I plugged in the memory stick I saw the screen flash couple of times in front of me going into command prompt then going back into the normal windows, just about all the high capacity memory devices I purchased from Ali Express have a problem in one form or another most did not work at all, I purchased a 16TB memory device from AliExpress in which it did not work so I opened it to my surprise it was a small memory card glued to a 1 inch by 1 inch by 1/4 inch piece of heavy metal and connected to a USB port, the piece of metal made the device feel heavy and legitimate , in the end my friends allow no one to think in your behalf and do your own thinking.
