My phone is an A546U 5g 8.0
Version 16
I "kept" getting this notice at the very least once a week and then I did a hard reboot and did a partition delete and I stopped getting it until today a week without it so I'd ignore it a few times and when would tap for the update I'd get the upper most ss what do I do short of doing a factory reset ???

Since you already did a cache partition wipe and it stopped for a week, that pretty much confirms it’s a software bug, not anything you caused. This is a known thing with early Android 16 / One UI 8 builds on the A54.
If the phone is still usable, I wouldn’t factory reset yet. Next best steps:
Make sure Google Play System Update is fully up to date (Settings → Security & privacy).
Check for any small OTA/hotfix updates — Samsung often pushes silent fixes.
Boot once into Safe Mode to see if the warning shows there (that helps rule out an app triggering the startup check).
If it keeps coming back weekly, back up your data and contact Samsung Support so they can log it as a firmware issue and a reset often doesn’t permanently fix bugs like this anyway.
Only do a factory reset if you start getting bootloops, freezes, or the phone won’t start normally. But keep in mind. A factory reset is just a temporary fix. I wish I had better news.
