A Series & Other MobileI have an A series phone. I have the latest OS update. When my phone rings, the quick decline option does not automatically pop up - never has. I have to tap to bring it up. I do not know why it's popping up automatically for you. If you want to continue what you are working on, frequent saves is always a good idea. But, if the quick decline option pops up, you should just be able to ignore it and return to what you are doing and let the call go to vm. There is also the option that when you are working on important documentation to put your phone on do not disturb, that way even the call screen won't interrupt you. Another option is to switch your phone dialer app to one that doesn't offer the quick decline messages. Also, instead of screeching on this forum, send your complaint directly to the development team through the feedback link. https://us.community.samsung.com/t5/Tips-Tricks/How-to-Send-Feedback/ba-p/3001692
Incidentally, even if I was in the middle of a text or social media post, If I was interrupted because I had to open another app for something, I was able to continue where I left off simply by opening the recent apps screen and selecting the app I was in. Unless it had been more than 15 minutes or so. Is it possible that you are accidentally tapping the quick decline when the call screen pops up?
