OneUI 8, ruined features for Galaxy A33

As basic as app opening my Galaxy A33 is now completely destroyed thanks to One UI 8, even notification/quick panel pull down animation is next to non-existent, now it feel like I'm using a ultra cheap chinese device, NO it is not because the hardware is that weak, OneUI 7 was dead smooth, They didn't even optimise the Software. I don't know it is intentional or not, but I hope Samsung will provide an update which will fix these issues, This is the least I hope from a company as big as Samsung. Frustrated!

Make sure you clear device cache in recovery. Also download Good Guardians from the Galaxy Store and install & run the Galaxy App Booster module.

Sorry, I didn't realize you had an A-series device. Download Fine Lock (unofficial app) from the Play Store. Some GL modules are available through that app. I'm not sure if Galaxy App Booster is one of them.

Good Lock and Good Guardians is available on the A36 though.

Ui8 had minimum changes to appearance clearing phone cache is good thing to do after updates

Doing a fresh reinstall usually fix all the problems. I cleared my cache and still had an out of memory problem.

THANK YOU FOR SAYING THAT! I am literally **bleep** off by samsung's business practices these days, they think that they are too big to fail. I have a galaxy a56 and when i see a redmi note 13 pro 4G!! NOT 5G have better animations out of the box compared to my phone which is craxy to say the least and sammy fans will always use good lock as an excuse haha they defend this company with their lives. Bro making smooth animations behind a paywall us crazy😂

Mine was also as chopped af after One UI8.

There's a security update after One UI 8

When you receive it, install it. 

Do a few restarts and then try switching off the handset when you go to bed so it remains off for 6-8 hours. 

It could also be a certain app that doesn't agree with the handset and One UI. 

I deleted unnecessary apps, and did the above and just like that, it was smooth again. There is the occasional stutter, especially when you hit the multi task button or a small delay opening an album on the Gallery app, but for the most part, it's now running OK. 

How's those cameras, BTW.. Aren't they great for the category of the phone? Sony sensors are the bomb!
