Hello everyone I have a Galaxy A53 5G bought new on the net, in France (I am French) in2022. After upgrading from OneUI 7.0 to OneUI 8.0. The SIM card is no longer recognized, and the airplane icon is grayed out. Samsung France tells me that it is a phone intended for the American market (XAA/XAA/ATT), and that I must therefore question Samsung U.S. to get an answer on this bug. Bug: I downgraded to OneUI 7.0, the sim card was recognized without pb Have you been aware of such a glitch? Is a patch conceivable? Hello I have the same issue Also I can't connect my phone to my computer anymore (I usually use an app since my computer is a macm and the app doesn't recognize the phone at all anymore)... no idea if it's linked though... Also I didn't managed to downgrade to OneUI 7.0... Can someone help me with it ? thanks a lot ๐
Thanks for your answer. But my device is not-physically- a /DS device. Or maybe it would be both Sim card an E-sim ? If it's the case, I don't know . Nobody in french samsung community tells me about this ability. Is it possible ?
Hello, I have exactly the same problem on my SM-A536U1/DS. I'm very interested in trying to downgrade to UI 7, could you please tell me where to find the firmware files to use ? I once used to flash a samsung S4 mini but a recent tutorial would also be helpful. Will the phone be "rooted" after this (which might prevent banking apps to work) ?
I too have an A53 and I and my husband are in USA (Virginia). I updated my A53 to new UI version (Oneui8.0) and everything is fine. HOWEVER, I bought my husband an A53 too since I liked mine so much (I bought his used from Swappa) and last week he upgraded to Oneui8.0 and is having same issue of sim card not being recognized (even if I try to insert the working sim from my A53.) No error message, just no calling and no mobile options under settings. Hmmmmm. One working A53 with Oneui8.0 and one not-working....Can I assume that my husband's phone is European?
I am in the US. How did you downgrade from 8.0 back to 7.0? 8.0 was pushed to me yesterday and my reception / connection no longer works. Switching back to an iPhone. This sucks.
