Not receiving my app icon badges notifications Samsung A15

My badge icon is on in the regular and advanced settings and I'm still not getting badge notifications. Every now and again the Samsung A15 stops making sounds or other notifications including badges.

Does anyone have a suggestion on this faulty facet of Samsung?

People are trying to figure out what badges you are talking about.

What badges and from where?

They are talking about the app icon badges for notifications. The little red circles with numbers that appear on the app when you have app notifications (if one has them turned on). You and I would never turn them on because it makes the screen look like chaos. The same people who like notification icons all across their status bar looove this feature.
