I need help getting my phone(galaxy a23 5g) to work properly with networks. I've contacted my carrier multiple times, I've spent days on the phone with Samsung and my Carrier and they both blame the other for the issue. I've tried network setting resets, ive gotten a new SIM from my carrier and even brought my phone to their in person store and they couldn't find what causes the problem making my phone only work in 5g networks. I also have issues occasionally connecting to wifi networks particularly mobile hotspots it will often say it doesn't have internet while others using the same network have a perfect connection.

Please help. I'm so sick of not being able to use my phone most of the time and the network service i pay for. Its costing me so much money and time for something im barely getting to use. I bought the phone literally 2 months ago and have spent literally hours and days on the phone trying to fix the issue ever since.

I'll have bars and it will say I'm on 4g LTE but it won't let me do anything including making phone calls, send texts, use data at all. I have a "unlimited plan" that has 25 GB(it was 35GB, ATT switched it behind me back) of "Premium data" which i can't even use because I almost never have data because it only works when it says 5G and sometimes not even then

I live in a house with 2 other people who use the same carrier on a similar plan, and they have very good service most of the time on 4g, we don't have a lot of 5g where I live

Also I reset network settings usually about 5 times a day more or less because my phone is so slow to recognize when there is a 5g(NR) signal again

Where did you purchase your phone?

Your said that you got your phone 2 months ago, it's was released in 2022? New, refurbished. Still and wsrr3nty on the device. Do you live near a authorized Samsung service center? They will diagnose for free.

Did you buy your phone used? If you did, you don't know how the original owner used or misused it or why they got rid of it. Is it a factory unlocked model or is it a phone that was formerly locked to another carrier? It may have another carrier's firmware which may have modified the phone's internal workings in some way. Have you run a diagnostic on the phone?
