Locked phone with a pin

I noticed that now when u find a phone it's no point even keeping it anymore especially if they have a pin and even when u factory reset the phone u still need a pin or an email associated with that phone to unlock it, Does anyone know a way around this? Or should I just throw the phone away?

Did you try a hard reset 🤔 I've had this issue before and If im correct there definitely is a work around and have you googled or looked on YouTube

We did all of that, I no longer have the phone because u can not get into it anymore

Generally people don't help with this as usually they assume you're stealing and selling phones. Or at least seeing how viable it is to do.
