A Series & Other Mobilei just bought an A16 5g from Best Buy (USA). Best Buy's website clearly states it's a "dual SIM slot" phone. but the phone will only physically hold a single sim + an sd card.
is the phone wrong , or best Buy's documentation?

A Series & Other MobileHello PortlandBill, Welcome to the Community. We understand your concern with the A16 supporting Dual SIM.
The unlocked A16 does support Dual SIM. Here is a link with additional information that may help: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS10001619/

A Series & Other Mobileno, it does have "dual SIM support" but not "dual SIM port".
that's an important difference when I have 2 physical sims.

A Series & Other MobileMany dual SIM trays either have two side by side slots or have a two sided SIM tray. SIM 2 on A series phones can either be used for a second SIM card or an SD card. The phone would not have *support* for two SIMS without having the capability to insert two SIMS. There is no distinction. Can you take a photo of both sides of your SIM tray?

A Series & Other MobileThe second SIM fits in the empty tray to the right. If you use a SIM and an SD card, you would put the SIM in the outer tray and put the SD card the long way in the inner tray. Two SIMs go the way you have the SIM now and the other in the outer tray. You can tell by the notched corner on the bottom right.
