I thought my A16 5G has "dual SIM slot"?

i just bought an A16 5g from Best Buy (USA).  Best Buy's website clearly states it's a "dual SIM slot" phone.  but the phone will only physically hold a single sim + an sd card.

is the phone wrong , or best Buy's documentation?

Sounds like the wording was wrong at Best Buy. The USA Samsung phones don't have a dual SIM slot. If you purchased an international version Samsung phone, it may have a dual SIM slot. I suggestion inquiring with yhr seller to ensure its a dual SIM slot before purchasing.

Dual SIM one physical one ESIM in the US.

A16 does have duel sim but BOTH are hard sims, no Esim. The 2nd slot is for another Sim not an SD card

The second slot can be used either as an SD slot or the 2nd SIM. You can have 2 physical SIMs or 1 physical SIM and an SD card or an eSIM, a physical SIM and an SD card.

not the one I got. it'll take a sim and a sd card, not 2 sims.

My bad. That is the way it is on my A54. if you have an eSIM and a physical SIM, that makes it dual SIM. What does the SIM manager or "about phone" setting say?
