Is anyone able to suggest a solution as to why I stopped receiving voice message notifications on my Galaxy A52.  I am still getting messages sent to my voicemail but I have to check it everyday as I don't know if anyone has left a message without the notification.

I am still getting notifications for all other apps and I have checked the settings of the phone app which still has notifications set as "allowed".

Perhaps it's a carrier issue of not sending the proper signal from the vm box?. You can use an slternate phone dialer app, like Google phone and see if your notifications start coming through. Are you getting missed call notifications, or are calls going strait to voicemail?

I have directed calls to go to voicemail if I am on another call or cannot answer the call.  They are going correctly to voicemail but I do not get the notification that a message has been left for me so I have no way of knowing unless I check my voice mailbox.

Have you downloaded a visual voicemail app from your carrier?

No I have not.  Is that something that many people do?

Yes, it is. Its a small app that works with your voice mailbox, and it lists the numbers/names who called and you can see at a glance if you have messages without having to dial your voicemail, and you can listen to them in any order. You don't have to use one from your carrier (some don't have one), but one from your carrier works best for compatibility. Has the added advantage of having its own notifications. They can be downloaded from Google Play or your carrier's website. Who is your carrier?

My carrier is Vodaphone but I cannot seem to find an app that works in the Australia region (preferably a free app).
