How do I keep phone display visible while on a call? It seems to go dark within 10-15 seconds of listening to automated call answering service. Samsung A15

You can try this but I've noticed the display will still go to sleep from time to time

To keep your Samsung screen on during a phone call

go to your phone settings

navigate to Advanced features

Motions and gestures

and enable the "Keep screen on while viewing" optionthis feature utilizes the front-facing camera to detect when you're looking at the screen, effectively keeping it active during a call.

Keep screen on while viewing Maybe listed in

Phone settings

Displays

Screen time out

and at the bottom toggle on Keep screen on while viewing

Depends on why you need the screen to be on.  If you need to press buttons for a voice menu, tapping on the screen when it starts to dim will keep it active.  After you no longer need the keypad, you can return to the home screen - the call will stay active and time out after your normal time out period.  If you don't like the screen timing out because you have to use your pin or password to unlock it when it goes dark, try creating a routine to keep the phone unlocked during phone calls.  This won't keep the screen from going dark, but it will only take a double tap to turn it back on because it will not lock.

@Leepd Unfortunately this is a "feature" that has been with Samsung phones for years. There is no way to change it.

When the screen goes dark you can double tap the screen or click the side key to wake the screen.
