When I enter a distance on my health app, when I reach certain distance achieved, the "voice" that gives me info on my status, distance, time, steps etc. speaks so fast I cannot understand what is said. I tried "slowing speech speed" on talk to text but has no bearing on it. I have an A 54 5g and no where in settings does it give me any options to slow speech down, nor does the health app itself. I have rebooted both phone and Galaxy 5 watch, again, no change.

A Series & Other MobileI do not believe it is possible to slow the voice on the voice guide. I don't know what's causing it to speed up. I assume it's a normal speed up to that point. You might try clearing the cache to the health app. Settings/apps/Samsung Health (or long press on the app icon and tap the circled "i"). Scroll down to "storage", tap the text and select "clear cache" on the bottom of the screen. If you can't understand the audio guide, you can always take a look at your phone or watch, the statistics should show on the screen.

A Series & Other MobileTried all provided solutions but no joy. It's no big deal, more irritating then anything as I usually listen to music or an audio book while walking and don't have the health app on the screen and it was nice to know my distance and time etc. but I'll survive. Thanx for the input.

A Series & Other MobileI see you said you already tried @JaredTL's suggestion to change the speech rate in the talkback settings, but did you really? Perhaps you didn't move the slider enough. It should work for the audio guide, as all it really does is read the stats off the phone screen. Go to settings/accessibility/talkback/settings/text-to-speech. Change the speech rate slider to the slow end, hit play and see if it's at a pace that's slow enough for you. Keep playing with it until the speech reaches a rate comfortable for you. This is the only setting that controls all text-to-speech on your phone. I do not use my phone for the audio guide on workouts - I use my watch. I got the watch so I did not have to carry my phone with me on walks and for swimming (can't swim with the phone). This same setting is on the watch and that successfully changed the rate of the guide on my watch. No reason setting it on the phone would not slow down your audio guide.
