Gallery bottom scroll bar missing

Hi im new to having a galaxy A16 and my bottom gallery scroll bar is missing and I dont know how to bring it back

Im just gonna use these screenshot as an example but the top only had the bar after I went into the start slide-show thing and the bottom pic is just how my gallery is normally so I was wondering how to bring back my bottom scroll bar.

I believe that bar is only visible when the slide show is selected.  It is so you can skip to an image while the slide show is playing or start your show from that slide onward.  It is not visible in any other view.  If you saw it all the time, you may have been leaving your app in slideshow view, and have your app settings to open to the last view.

I had the bar on my other galaxy before and from what I've seen my family who have galaxys had theirs without it being in slideshow mode. And also how do I put my app to open to last view?

I do, see it when I open an album and tap a photo to view.  I then see the ribbon bar to scroll through the album.  But it does not show outside of an album view, and not until you select a photo.

That's the issue im having, my bar is gone when I tap a photo to veiw it. My layout also doesnt give me the eye that you have on top. Im not trying to come off as silly Im just trying to figure out how to get my bar back

Frankly, I never noticed it until you brought it up, so I'm not sure I would miss it if it was gone.

What version of Gallery are you using?  I don't know that there would be a difference in gallery options between phone models, but there might be.  The eye at the top of my window seems to be a deep dive into the photo contents.  It brings up this screen (also a control I never paid attention to).  Since this is an AI component, perhaps the options brought up by the "eye" are not available on the A16.

In the meantime, have you cleared the gallery cache and data?  Clearing the data won't delete your photos, but may delete your album structure, and you will have to recreate them, as well as reconfigure your app settings.  Clearing the cache will only clear out excess temp files that may be interfering.

I haven't cleared my gallery cache I dont know how to either, can you tell me how?

long press on the gallery icon until the mini menu comes up.  Tap on the circled "i" in the upper right corner.  Scroll down to "storage".  On the bottom of the screen, tap "clear cache".  This will get rid of all temporary files in the cache.

Clearing it didnt bring back the bottom bar, is there like any other way possible to have it back?

I started digital art an going thru the pictures from the bottom bar helps compare it easier for me.
