If anyone can help me, I would be so grateful. I love my Galaxy S9 phone. I know it's old, but I like it and the first one I had crashed and now the second one I'm on just did the same thing. I factory reset it and the screen is freezing at the first page. I can't do anything or tap any button it just is frozen and I've tried to factory reset it and that didn't work. It's completely frozen. Any suggestions?
The S9 is many years old now, and probably reached the end of its lifespan. What's it on Android 12? It is likely bordering on incompatibility with many updated apps and full of security holes and becoming unstable. Aging hardware can also be starting to degrade and cause issues. You should really start thinking of upgrading. Luckily the holiday shopping season is upon us and you can probably grab a great deal on a better phone.

Does it ever unfreeze, like after a few minutes, or just stays that way until the battery dies? Are you able to turn it off and back on? If you are able, make sure you have a backup of anything important to you that wouldn't have been contained in an automatic backup and try turning the phone off and leaving it off for a day. When you say you tried factory resetting it, does that mean the phone wouldn't reset because it was frozen, or you were able to reset and the results were the same?
