Cannot add own ringtone from SD memory card in phone.

Hello,

I have a Samsung galaxy A55 phone and the ringtone I use is saved to the SD memory stick, cannot add the ringtone from SD memory card in the phone to Ringtones on the phone.

Can someone tell me how I do this?

You have to copy the ringtone into the "ringtone" (or notification, or  alarm) folder(s) on the phone.  You can do this through the file manager.
