@whydoiexist That isn't force stopping anything. That is just wiping the cache used by those items.

I just thought it force stopped the apps because it said "by stopping background apps"

It is telling you that you can stop background apps and free some memory. That is a separate step.

You can test this by having apps running. Click the clean button and clean all the items. Then check your running apps and they will still be there.
