YouTube background playback frequently doesn't work and even switching to read a text in Google voice stops playback. The behavior seems inconsistent. I am a YouTube premium subscriber.
I've recently switched from a moto G100 to the galaxy x cover 7 pro. Where this worked without issue and it even allowed multiple apps to be cued and selected between for playback. Audible works pretty well. YouTube music seems fine.
I've set the background play on in Samsung Internet which is a very strange place for the setting.
Some times I get some background play other times it seems impossible. I like to listen to videos while playing games on my phone.
If this is a limitation of the snapdragon 7 compared to the 8 that I usually get then I'd appreciate clarification on that limitation. I suspect it's background app management settings.
