A16 stuck on July security update

Any resolve coming to this issue on the update being stuck on July ?

I also am running One UI 8 with android 16 on my S25+ and yet the Play Store update is STILL on July 1st???

What really gets me is that my new Tab S11 just updated this morning to September 1st! The tab, being new, is also on One UI 8 and Android 16. Something is simply not right here!

First, the Play Store and Google Play services are not the same thing.  Second, I have an A54 and my Google Play Services is on the September 1, update (must have come down automatically in the past 3 days, because just the other day it was on August 1).  Any issues with your Google Play Services updates should be addressed to Google, as they are the ones that push the updates. I assume you tried manually looking for the update?  It is possible that they are rolling out September 1 now and you will receive it soon.

Google Play Services is baked into Android. Even though it’s updated via the Play Store, its “last updated” date can show: The date the app was last installed or re-signed by the system — not the date of the last Play Store update.
