Washers and DryersHello,
I searched and didn't find a solution. Hoping someone can help me. I have a wf457argsgr/a2 washer that will not start. I try to get into diagnostics but it gives my an error E2 jammed key. I looked behind the buttons and the button on the board is good. Checked continuity and only had continuity when the button is pressed. Door switch is also good. Touch screen is good but it will hang up on the Samsung startup and get stuck. I have to unplug it to gain normal function. Don't know what to do now. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Washers and DryersI’m sorry to hear that you’re experiencing an issue with your washer. You mentioned that it’s displaying Error Code E2, indicating a jammed key. However, you’ve already checked and found that no key is pressed. This suggests that at some point, a key may have become stuck, potentially damaging one of the keys. I recommend contacting a service center to have it inspected and repaired.
This is what the support pages says
E2, bE2, 6E2, BE2*, 8E2*: Jammed button error
A button on the panel is detected as stuck or continuously pressed.
To fix this, power off the washer, and then individually touch every button on the panel. While touching each button, work it back and forth to reach all edges before releasing.
If any of the buttons are damaged, or the code returns after powering on the washer, visit our Support Center to request service.
*On some models, BE2 (8E2) is a Jammed Button Error. On some models it is a Mems Sensor Error (located in the All Other Errors section). See your user manual to determine which it is for your model.

Washers and DryersThe washer only has two buttons as it's a touchscreen. I took apart the control pane and tested the little blue and black buttons with a meter to test continuity. They are functioning correctly.

Washers and DryersIf you've checked everything that can be checked and everything seems to be correct then support is the last thing to do.
