Washers and DryersMy dryer smells moldy when I use refresh and steam sanitizer. Samsung said that this problem is not covered under warranty.

Ensure the ventilation is free from debris. Many times the odor-causing problem is in the hose vent of the dryer. Lint makes itโs way past the trap and gets clogged in the hose located at the back of the dryer. This damp lint accumulates and is a breeding ground for mildew and mold. Also check the exit vent for accumulated debris and clean it out.
A few years ago my ventilation was clogged with lint and I took my air compressor and blew out the ventilation tube to the outside. You'd be surprised the lint that gets trapped inside the ventilation tube.

You could get a few wash cloths with vinegar dampened on them and run the dryer on medium heat until dry, as vinegar can get rid of mold. The vinegar smell will dissipate, too, and is used to get of mold in general. Might work.
