Washers and DryersOur washer (bought / delivered 01/17/2023) with just over 2 years of use has developed a horrible banging during spin cycle. So this morning I decided to investigate the issue. There are 2 large concrete encased in plastic weights mounted to the front of the drum. Really uncertain how they demolished themselves. Never in 55 years have I seen this type of issue. Broken springs, bearings, rollers, etc. are very common wear issues over time, but not usually in the first 2 years. I attached a photo for all to view. Not sure how many other Samsung machines are doing this same thing, but definitely a manufacture defect and should be a 100% recall on these machines.

same here barely 4 years old I have to stand by every wash and manually balance readjust load take half load out, stop machine and then just use spin cycle. my other Samsung front loader cost me hardly anything on a great sale and lasted 10 years.

same situation with our 4 year old washer. We have had some limited success running spin only with a maximum spin setting at 2. Anything over 2 and the cycle will not finish and the washer will either refill itself (super wasteful) or we'll pull the items out and run spin only several times with fewer clothing items it.
😠

Washers and DryersI have the same Samsung washer and have the same issues, so what is the best washer currently on the market to purchase?

Washers and DryersJust adding that I too have this issue with a machine that is just 3.5 years old, and all but unusable now, because even moderate loads cause it to become unbalanced ... and then it repeatedly restarts the rinse cycle (bracing for my water bill!), gets back to spin, gets unbalanced ... literally "rinse and repeat."
An unaffiliated repair tech told me it was too expensive to fix and I should just buy a new machine. I reached out to Samsung help to see if they had a different idea, and they basically told me to buy a new machine.
I am going to buy a new machine, and it's not going to be a Samsung.

Washers and DryersSame issue here! Washer is 4 years old, with UB and rinse/repeat/spin/UB issues all have described. Samsung offered nothing but links to calibration and Samsung repair contacts. But the cost of "repair" is more than a new machine! Never again will I purchase a Samsung. I am sad I wasted the money and will be contributing to the landfills.

Washers and DryersSame issue here. This is beyond frustrating. How is this thread “solved” if the issue isn’t fixed?

Washers and DryersWe are having the same problem. Washer 3.5 years old. $85 for a repair estimate and he said it’s the transmission of the washer that is making it be unbalanced every single wash and that we should just buy a new one versus fixing this. He said he has seen nothing but problems with Samsung washers.
