Get ready Samsung Community, Galaxy Unpacked is nearly upon us! We are all eagerly awaiting the next generation of Foldables and Wearables, and I am personally really looking forward to seeing how Samsung can take them to the next level.

Speaking of next level, I'd like to talk a little bit about the Galaxy AI features the S25 series offers. Samsung has truly elevated the smartphone experience, making our daily lives so much smoother and less stressful. I've been a huge fan of features like Circle to Search – it's a game-changer for quick info, especially when shopping. Also, being able to have Galaxy AI transcribe voice recordings is such a time saver! And Audio Eraser & Auto Trim? I love waving goodbye to those annoying background noise in my videos!

But what really has me brimming with excitement ahead of Galaxy Unpacked is the potential for even more groundbreaking improvements to Galaxy AI. We've already seen how Call Assist and Interpreter have redefined communication; we will undoubtedly see even more advanced features for the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7, but how will AI enhance the Galaxy Watch 8 experience? Only time will tell.

Here's what I want to know from some of you in the Samsung Community! What are your favorite Galaxy AI features, and how do you currently utilize them in your daily routine? What are you excited for, or hoping to see, next from Samsung in the realm of AI? Looking forward to your responses!😃

I use multimodal commands all the time. I would like it to be faster, for it to be faster, all flagships should come with a minimum of 16gb of RAM.

I am hoping to see a better telephoto camera on the Z Fold 7. It's been the same 3x they have been using since the S20 series. That would make that 7 yrs old!

More and faster RAM is a must, as are camera improvements across the board. This may be the year I take the dive in and invest in a Fold; I'm liking most of what the rumor mill has uncovered so far.

More RAM ≠ faster RAM. Faster RAM simply means faster RAM. Honestly, haivng 16Gs of RAM would be total overkill for the vasty majority of smartphone users, especially considering the processing power on the SD 8 Elite. The S25 already uses the LPDDR5X (4800Mhz) and is currently the fastest RAM on smartphones and the next iteration is unknown when it comes oout. Unless one isf using like 10 AI modes and some actual video/super hi-res photo editing programs on the devices, 12Gs is more than enough. Even then one would need to be using pro level AI functions, not the general Gemini, Copilot, Perplexity etc stuff.

Here is a fun fact, unused RAM is wasted RAM. What would better is if Samsung actually produced better camera hardware (as you correctly noted since the S20 series) and in the US, Samsung, Google, Apple etc currently don't even have actual 1" size camera sensors, or super fast charging or even bigger batteries. Oneplus currently provides a 6000mAh battery with 80w wired and 50w wireless charging. Now if you really are using pro level multimodal needed programs at the same time with video editors etc, yes 16Gs would be be a good set to have.

Do I need it all the time, no. Would I like to have it when needed, yes.

Right, but you already have it. As I stated before, if you are truly using pro level multimodal functions on top of video editing, then yeah needing 16gbs of memory to hold all that data to keep it all running, but 12gbs is more than enough. I mean, if you want to pay just to have it but in the end not come close to actually using it, then I guess that's a choice made by the user. The RAM will be there and not implemented for use.

In the end would you not rather have better hardware for cameras, battery capacity & maybe even a faster CPU? I'm only asking because of the correct statement you made regarding the camera being abt the same since the S20. But if having more RAM not going to be used is an odd follow up to that if that is what is wanted.

Another small bonus of having the extra RAM, is less stress on the CPU, which would benefit in heat management, even if it is only a few degrees. Better heat management is better for your battery.

Running YouTube Music, Lyft (GPS) and the NYT games app at the same time, my phone will overheat to over 100⁰. If more RAM would drop that temperature it would be worth it.

But you have extra RAM & that works when apps are cached. CPUs don't heat up because of a lack RAM though very few cases not enough ram will cause constant swap functions making the CPU get hot, they get hot when they are processing a great amount of data at once or programs are not created well enough to prevent bottlenecks forcing the CPU to overwork. RAM has nothing to do with processing, it only stores active (or inactive cached data) from executables so they can be used. When it's close to being full, the system should automatically delete cached data from apps that are not open and then allocate that RAM to the new apps.

If those are the only functions of concern, 12gbs is far more than enough which means poor app optimization if it gets hot . YouTube gets the CPU hot because it stores a lot of data cached away but I've only noticed that issue in the s25. I never had that issue with my previous Samsung models.

That kinda tells me that the one ui 7 and 8 beta are holding cached data and not releasing it when RAM is needed elsewhere as RAM has worked as long as I've been working on Pcs {over 25 years). Also, your progs like lyft and NYT games run hard on ads and tracking. You can ask any hardware pro on smartphones or PCs that more RAM will only be needed mostly for more intensive apps like video/image editing etc. Ever since I started manually clearing out my YT data, it has not become hot since.

Still if you rather have more RAM than faster charging, larger batteries and better camera hardware that is what choice is about. I'm being honest that it is odd considering how RAM amounts function usung6 different applications, while having mentioned the near obsolete camera hardware.
