About 24 hours ago I was told there was a mandatory update that would be installed at a time unless I did it now.
Since then the recent apps seems to have been changed to a "suggested apps" feature if I don't use the tablet for several hours.
For instance, I was playing "Fate: Grand Order" before going to sleep, but upon waking in the morning the recent apps was instead displaying the Marianos and Jewel apps, which I have not used since I went grocery shopping on Friday, and I don`t think I used them on the tablet, I would have used my phone and the computer.
How do i fix it so that the recent apps will still display FGO in the morning, or when I get home from work?
This is in addition to the obvious changes to the recent apps which combines it with the frequently used apps buttons (or whatever that feature is called these days).
I'm sorry, I've reached the end of my knowlege of Samsung tablets. You can't rollback ir downgrade and update. Hopefully, someone with more familiarity with tablet settings will step in.

Is this a matter of semantics despite putting up a picture earlier? It might be "recommended apps" I want to disable and go back to showing the most recently used apps even and especially if I closed them.
Sometimes I swipe too quickly and close the wrong app, and FGO tends to run in the background unless I close it or put it in deep sleep, and I don't want to do the latter because I quickly switch to a browser or notepad while playing and want to jump right back in.
So I ONLY want to show the most recently used apps, not suggested or recommended apps. This was the behavior displayed until the last patch since I got the tablet, and the behavior of my older Samsung phones both the S105g and it's predecessor an S9.
I don't think it's a matter of semantics, as recent apps and recommended apps are completely different even though the recommended apps selection may include some of your recently used apps. As I said before, not being familiar with the settings of the tablet and possible differences between the phone and tablet, I am limited in the help I can give. I am quite surprise that no tablet users have stepped in here. Since your only option in tapping the dot menu on the "recents" screen is contact us, I don't know if that's a glitch or the setting for recommended apps is in a different location in your settings. Adding the game(s) you play most might be better added to your favorites bar, rather than relying on using the recent apps screen. There should be a way to not show the recommended apps, it may be somewhere else in the settings. You might try doing a search in settings for "recommended apps".

Have you tried clearing the cache partition on the tablet? I believe it's done the same way as on the phone, but I'm not positive.

What has happened is that the feature has changed from a "Open and recently used apps" to "Open apps and SUGGESTED APPS". If I close an app, it disappears from the recent apps page and if there aren't enough open apps then the phone decides to fill out the bar with apps of its own choosing instead of the most recently used apps.
If I cannot turn this feature back to functioning the way it did last month, I would like to revert to the previous version of the OS that did function.
My Galaxy S105G phone is still functioning normally, although that may be because of how old it is and hasn't had an update since September (and yes, it say no updates available). So the difference in how the UI functions drives me nuts, and the way the phone works is far more useful.
