TabletsMy Galaxy Tab seems to be slower, battery drains faster, I can no longer get setting when I swipe down from the home screen.....I now have to go into my apps to find settings..

TabletsYou have to swipe down from the right side of the screen to get to the settings. If you swipe down far enough, you will get to the edit pencil to put the quick panel and notification panel back together.
Your contacts should have backed up to Google, so make sure the contacts app is pointing to "all contacts" and all storage locations are selected.

TabletsIt's been a while since I got the update and put the panels back together, but put the panels back together first. Swipe down on the right side til you see the edit pencil, tap the edit pencil, then look for the panel settings window on the upper left. Tap that and select "together". Your panels will now be back together and you should see settings gear.

TabletsMake sure the "swipe down" option is toggled in home screen settings.
